Family: He is the proud father of four children, whose involvements and activities are another thing he enjoys. He and his family are also active in their church.

Ken graduated from Pittsburg State University in 1996 and has been a CPA since 2000. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Business Management.
Ken has more than 15 years of public accounting experience in tax and accounting for small to medium sized businesses and nonprofit organizations. He also has previous experience in commercial, nonprofit and municipal auditing. Ken currently provides services in accounting, consulting, tax planning and compliance for individuals, businesses and nonprofit organizations as a shareholder in our Lawrence office. Ken is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Kansas Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Ken enjoys the opportunity to work in an environment where he can be of benefit to a wide variety of people and businesses. “I find the most satisfaction in providing a service to someone that leads them to their goals. Finding a solution through analysis, collaboration, and discussion is an exciting process. It is a great feeling to see a plan take shape that was previously hidden from a client’s view.”
He has previously served as a member of the nonprofit board of directors of Family Promise of Lawrence, Ballard Community Services, and the Douglas County Chapter of the American Red Cross and is currently a member of the Lawrence Chamber of Commerce board of directors. He is also a graduate of the Leadership Lawrence Class of 2006.
