Star Americas and Mize Houser & Company P.A. have been combining resources to provide a world-class practice management solution for medium - large firms, since 2009.

Mize Houser & Co is a leading regional CPA and information technology firm in the Midwest, who developed a practice management solution, CPA/MIS, for its own use over 25 years ago.  CPA/MIS went on to be installed in some 40 other CPA firms across North America.  

CPA/MIS remained character based, however, and inevitably Mize Houser & Co and the CPA/MIS User Group recognized the need for a latest generation successor.  Having conducted extensive research in the market, Mize Houser & Co selected Star PM and entered into a contract with Star Americas in April 2009.

Mize Houser & Co adopted Star PM for its own practice and having worked through its own successful migration from CPA/MIS, was particularly well placed to apply its hands-on expertise to benefit other firms. Indeed, Mize Houser & Co has worked alongside Star to transition the CPA/MIS client base to Star PM.

While Star's own marketing focus continues to be the Top 100 CPA firms, Mize Houser & Co is jointly marketing Star PM to other medium sized firms in the US Top 250.  Mize Houser & Co provides such clients with consulting, implementing and first line support with the added benefit of Star's full co-operation and back-up.
