For over 40 years, BRB Contractors, Inc. has looked to Mize Houser for assurance, technology, accounting and tax services. The following is a letter of reference from Michael Welch, President of BRB Contractors, Inc., in Topeka, Kansas. It has been reproduced with his permission. BRB Contractors is a heavy construction contractor performing work throughout the Midwest. Its primary business is construction of water treatment plants, wastewater treatment plants, most underground pipelines, bridges, and outside telephone utilities.

"Mize Houser has been doing our audits since the company started over 50 years ago. They have audited our books every year. I gauge a company by its results, and their results have been excellent.

They picked the package that we are still using, and for several years used their computer hardware and their computer jocks to run the process, with data entry our only responsibility. This worked well.

"Later, we went in-house when we grew larger, and Mize Houser assisted us in picking the hardware and additional software components. Then they spent considerable time training us.

"Besides auditing our financials yearly, they also audit our ESOP and 401(k) programs yearly. Thanks to their due diligence in these matters, we have been able to correct mistakes that we committed, or that were committed by our administrative "experts".
