Duane’s dedication to helping clients goes back to 1972, when he joined Mize Houser as a tax shareholder. His extensive experience and knowledge has helped clients with income and business tax challenges in a variety of industries. Throughout his career, Duane has provided guidance and technical support for younger accountants in the firm. He is especially proud of the firm’s growth and the authentic relationships he has built with Mize colleagues and clients. Duane is semi-retired but continues to work with clients and provides support during the busy tax season.

Duane spends as much time as he can with his grandchildren, attending their sports and school activities and arranging family vacations. You’ll also find him swinging a golf club, playing pickleball, or riding his e-bike when he’s not with family.
