With nearly 50 years in the accounting world, Duane brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Mize Houser team. After becoming a partner in 1972, Duane has concentrated his career in the area of income taxation and has significant business tax consulting experience in a variety of areas. He is most proud of the growth of the firm and the relationships he has built Mize Houser colleagues and his many clients.

Duane has been active in various civic affairs, including president of the Topeka 20-30 Club, board member of the Brewster Place Retirement Center and Foundation, treasurer/board member of Topeka’s Ronald McDonald House, treasurer/board member of the Topeka Collegiate School and treasurer/board member of the Topeka Community Foundation.
Duane spends as much time as possible with his grandkids, attending their various activities and taking multigenerational trips with his family.
