Sean has over 20 years of experience in both public and private accounting, having worked in the consulting, tax and audit areas of public accounting firms as well as serving as a controller and CFO for private companies. His practice focuses on providing accounting, payroll and consulting services to a variety of industries, with an emphasis in hospitality. With clients across the country, Sean helps owners navigate tax law changes, improve profitability, manage payroll and provide guidance with owners who wish to sell, purchase or build a succession plan. He also helps clients with Mize Houser’s cloud-based solution for accounting, payroll and bill payment.

When he’s not in the office, you can find Sean cooking with his family or wake surfing at the lake. His mother taught him to cook at a young age and he continues that legacy, holding family cooking competitions with his kids. A few of his proudest culinary feats? Making cream puffs completely from scratch at the age of 10 and getting his kids to eat stuffed pork chops you’d find in an upscale restaurant, complete with goat cheese, spinach and sun dried tomatoes.
